Delete Your Account
You can delete your MyFairMate account at any time, directly in the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent — there is no waiting period and it cannot be undone.
How to delete your account
- Open the MyFairMate app and tap your profile picture (top right).
- Scroll to the bottom of the Account screen and tap Delete account.
- Read what will happen, type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete my account.
No longer have the app installed? Email
admin@myfairmate.com from the address registered to your account,
with the subject “Account Deletion Request”. We will confirm within 2 business
days and delete the account within 30 days.

What happens to your data

Why shared records are anonymised rather than erased.
An expense records who paid and who owed. Deleting your side of it would change
what everyone else in that gathering is owed — erasing your data would corrupt
theirs. So those records stay, with every trace of who you were removed.
Subscriptions are billed separately. If you subscribe through the
App Store or Google Play, deleting your account does not cancel that
subscription. Cancel it in your store account first, or you will continue to be charged.
